Inventory Control Cycle Counter 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Job Summary: (A brief description of the primary purpose of the job)To collect production and warehouse information on movement of finished product and raw materials, confirm accuracy of data and enter into computer inventory system.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential job functions) RF (radio frequence) unit navigation. Compare work orders from production and warehouse.Enter cycle counts daily into the computer system for components and chemicals.Maintain barcode system and system integrity. Key computer calculated quantities into data bank. Assist with Year-End inventory. Justify dock receipts for packaging against purchase orders and enter quantity received. Process Inventory adjustment codes and reconcile inventory issues. Perform other related duties as required.Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: (Those essential to minimum performance)High school or equivalent.1 year production line experience, or in inventory control.1 year data entry, PC or CRT experience.Intermediate reading, writing, and math skills (high school level or equivalent). Clerical abilities including filing, data entry, and typing to 40 wpm. Oral and written communication competency. Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and work independently.Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Comprehension of CRT or PC basic functions. Familiarity with all production functions, work order forms, and product specifications.Ability to read, write and speak English competently. Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities: (Those helpful to effective performance) Advanced education or vocational training in clerical or production functions.Knowledge of AS400 system. 1 yr experience as data entry operator. Production planning, inventory or scheduling experience (3 years). Experience with RF (radio frequence) unit. Advanced math and statistical abilities (beyond high school). Environmental Conditions: (Note only those above minimal concern or exposure)Manufacturing environment-some temperature extremes, dust, noise, and wet.
