Position Summary

Responsible for assisting with the data entry, process, retrieval and filing of any reports/company procedures and maintaining scanning information at store level.

Minimum Requirements

School Education

HS Graduate or Equivalent(GED)

Degrees

High School Diploma (Preferred)

or GED preferred

Job Experience

One (1) year Experience in retail or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Ensure all sale items are entered into computer and taken off at end of sale.

Ensure all shelf tags are accurate and maintained.

Complete price checks and ensure that prices marked in the store are accurate.

Assist with executing changes for all prices marked in the store in strict accordance with specific procedures.

Assist with ordering shelf tags for missing and/or new items on a regular basis; put tags up as soon as received on store level and then verify system as requested.

Assist with verifying for accuracy each UPC marked item in the store as compared to the file.

Notify the Store leadership if products/supplies need to be ordered.

Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.

Have familiarity with all products and their locations in each department.

Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

Good verbal communication skills with ability to communicate efficiently with customers. Good customer service and organizational skills. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required. Attention to detail and proficient in computer usage (email, spreadsheets, etc.).

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. May be required to travel. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will be exposed to refrigerated/freezer coolers on a frequent basis. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
