SALARY RANGE: $80,500 - $111,880Base salary is determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.CLOSING DATE: This position will close on May 24, 2018.LOCATION: This position may be located in Papillion, NE or Denver, CO.PRIMARY FUNCTION:A supervisory and leadership role responsible for the management oversight of Gas Measurement and Gas Quality. Ensure all gas measurement equipment, programs and processes meet industry standards, meet the needs of all business groups, and comply with SOX and governing regulations. Provide overall measurement strategy in order to meet goals in the areas of: profitable growth, valued service, day to day operations, business development and continuous improvement opportunities. Implement gas measurement strategy to ensure complete accuracy of company measurement from the field device through corporate reporting. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director of Gas MeasurementESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Manage a suite of Measurement hardware and software (FLOW-CAL Enterprise and TESTit applications, FlexiBill, GasTrack).Manage relationships with measurement departments from interconnecting pipelines.Manage SOX compliance and audits for measurement software and processes.SME for all measurement industry regulations (Including the AGA, API, GPA and the BLM) and company specific interconnect agreements. Apply this knowledge to make informed decisions on a day to day basis.SME for all pipeline assets concerning measurement equipment, gas flow characteristics, gas quality measurement and measurement data flow. Develop a good working relationship with internal business groups in order to support new business opportunities and to support day to day business. Manage relationships and reporting requirements with a number of governing agencies. Direct team to strategically participate in Engineering and System Design meetings companywide to ensure proper measurement equipment is in place.Research and analyze new technology and tools for cost savings or improved measurement.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in development of capital budgets for the Measurement Department.Other daily, weekly and monthly duties as assigned.WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Maintain a positive working relationship with Government Agencies who oversee measurement regulation.Maintain a positive working relationship with Measurement Managers from interconnecting pipelines.Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, other departments and management.Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.EXPERIENCE:5-7 years of experience in natural gas operations, with at least five years of direct work experience in Measurement.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.KNOWLEDGE:Expert knowledge of company-specific policies and practices, and regulatory requirements for gas measurement.Expert knowledge of transmission measurement standards.SKILLS/ABILITY/OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:Write effectively and understand written communications, including but not limited to email.Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.Project management skills.Ability to analyze new technologies and business tools.Ability to analyze business reporting information.Strong business management skills including personnel development.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access, Excel expertise is desirable.Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.Ability to analyze business reporting information and recommend improvements.Strong business sys
